Greensburg Aug 7 Five murder cases will be considered by the Westmoreland County Criminal Court Grand Jury when it convenes Monday morning to review 264 cases before the term opens Aug 26. Among the defendants is John Barnes New Kensington accused of killing his daughter years ago while seeking to return to his estranged wife. Also charged is Harry J Ralston Lower Burrell township with the murder of William Coulson whose skull was crushed and a nail driven through the head. Barnes was arrested near Butler after police investigated a possible drowning in the Allegheny river. A former New Kensington neighbor helped lead to his arrest. Ralston 74, a farmer, denied the hatchet slaying of his 41 year old friend. According to Coulson nephew James 34, Ralston was mopping blood from Coulson s face when found in the home.
