A young couple left for a visit with Wilmerding friends last Saturday and returned Tuesday to Indiana. They phoned the bride’s parents that evening to say they were home, and the news was first shared then.

Bomb Found At Home Of New Castle Woman

Open For a Cracksman in Morgantown Sheriff’s Safe

An Aug. incident reports an expert safecracker hired to open the sheriff’s office safe. The combination was known only to Sheriff John F. Watlace. The safe contained county funds, papers, and valuable items of the late sheriff, including life insurance policies.
