Doughty Bucs Take Over Phillies In Double Victories

Detroit salvaged two of three from the Yankees with a 6 to 2 win as Owen Carroll collected hits. Heiman, Gehrig, and Heilman sparked the New York attack while Ruether was knocked out in the ninth. Attendance hovered around 20 000 as Babe Ruth and Georges Moriarity led boys teams before the main game.

Kremer's Slam Powers Double Showdown in Pittsburgh

In a National League matchup 12,000 fans watched Pittsburgh top Philadelphia 7-3 and 7-5 as Remy Kremer starred with a home run and two singles in the second game.
