Miner Caught Under Rock Fall at Brenizer Mines
John Stephenson a 42 year old coal loader at Westmoreland and Mining Company Brenizer was injured in a rock fall at 5 30 pm two miles from the mine entrance. He suffered possible fracture of vertebrae severe scalp and facial lacerations and heavy bruising. He was taken by ambulance to Indiana hospital where staff said his condition was favorable. Stephenson is married and resides at Brentzer.
