Obituary of Indiana businessman Peter Bennett dies at 80
Funeral services for Peter Bennett of Indiana will be held with the Rev L B Rittenhouse officiating and burial in Oakland Cemetery. Born April 28 1865 in Bedver County he began in Bolivar then Derry before moving to Indiana in 1898 to run a grocery. He formed the first wholesale grocery in Indiana with A W Mabon and Alexander Stewart and later joined Buchanan Bennett. He spent two years in Florida before returning to Indiana where he remained active in business.
