Camp Colonel Rutledge to Open Saturday

Indiana unit Co. F members plan provost work soon after ward and Camp Colonel Frank R. Rutledge will be formally opened Saturday. Heavy rains hindered work at the camp but progress continues satisfactorily.

Funeral train for Buchholtz father funeral services set

Theodore Buchholtz of North Ninth Street rode the 3 57 p m train for Philadelphia to attend his father Herman Buchholtz's funeral, with Rev Dr J A Alexander slated to conduct morning and evening services at Second United Presbyterian Church next Sabbath. Rev J G O McCracken of Johnstown arrived in Indiana to visit family at Mrs McCracken's father Joseph B Adair's home on Church Street. Mrs Purl J Bennett, lately with her mother, plans to leave for Albany N Y today to join her husband and then travel to Little Falls, Md, where Bennett & Sons have an road contract.

Noted Civil War veterans to attend fifty year encampment

Death of John W. Ewing senior traveling auditor

John W. Ewing a native of this county and senior traveling auditor for the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad died in Raintree Connecticut in seventy. He was born in 1866 in Oden Illinois and educated in Evansville Indiana. He began in railroads in 1888 and rose through Fitchburg Boston and Maine and New York New Haven lines to auditing. He was a member of several fraternal groups and left a wife Olive Smith and four children in Braintree.
