Women of the Moose Indiana Chapter 1260 met in lodge rooms Tuesday July 28 with Senior Regent Jane Bone presiding. Officers were rolled and publicity chair Maxwelline M Cobb filed her monthly report. An auditing committee was set for August 4. A convention to begin August 16 in Pittsburgh was announced. A next meeting is scheduled for August 11 at 8 p.m. in the lodge rooms. The Air Force has adopted a new formal uniform with a short mess jacket cummerbund bow tie and dark trousers.

The Sagamore Jolly 11 Club met at Mrs. Sue Zaczyk’s home on July 30 at seven. Joni led the business portion with Vera reading the prior minutes. A project to supply three 10 pound turkeys for Thanksgiving was approved. Each member’s child will receive two dollars for the Fair. Emmie Lou won the door prize, Isabella the pig, and Vera a special prize. A barbeque lunch followed and the group praised the evening.
