Weir Carrie M Bell Weir Dies at 65 in Windber

Carrie M Bell Weir aged 65 wife of Charles C Weir died at her home in Windber after an extended illness. She was a Windber resident 35 years, a Presbyterian, Eastern Star White Shrine and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary member. Surviving are her husband three children 12 grandchildren and several siblings. Funeral services were held at Windber Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev J Harold Gwynne with interment at Richland Cemetery.

In Wheeling West Virginia the 16th annual convention of the eightieth division veterans association opened with several hundred veterans arriving from Pennsylvania Ohio West Virginia and Virginia for mobilization calls.
