Farming Mishap Fatal in Indiana County
Marion Center resident Bert C. Grove aged 43 died after a farming accident at the Bar Bence Farm in Rayne Township. He apparently backed a tractor into a doorway, pinning him between the tractor and a ceiling beam. Grove died of a broken neck and internal injuries at Indiana Hospital after being found by a farm brother. He was husband to Betty Ober Grove and father of three sons.
