In Erie on April 6 John Peters 18 son of Charles Peters Utica Venango county died at a state school near Edinboro after a lightning strike during field work. His sister Margret suffered injuries. Peters’ clothing and hair were badly damaged and the event shocked the nearby workers. William J. Bryan later spoke in Jerusalem to a Christian Missionary Alliance gathering, praising Christ while lamenting the small Christian proportion in America and Europe.
Henderson Ky April 30 The Democratic committee of the Second congressional district today declared Congressman A O Stanley nominee for reelection.
