Counterfeiters Under Arrest Involving New York Gang
JOHNSTOWN April 29. State police arrested five members of an alleged New York counterfeit gang that has flooded the district with fake $20 bills. Held are Frank Marks and James Rizzo of New York John Kluckovic of Brownstown and two others who fled in an automobile were captured at Altoona and to be returned here. The suspects were nabbed after trying to pass a counterfeit note at a hotel restaurant where the clerk was tipped off and Captain James Adams led a raid on the hotel.
