Reuben Johns a 53 year old laborer from West Wheatfield township was held for criminal court on a charge of first degree murder in the death of John Reisinger a 68 year old wealthy bachelor hermit found shot at his Huffield home Monday afternoon. County detective Koozer said the motive was robbery and evidence included a 38 caliber revolver and a flashlight from the victim’s home found on Johns nephew’s premises.
