Jeremiah D. Small aged sixty died on his first day’s work at Bit tenger’s lime quarries near Hanover York County when a tram car detached from its cable and plunged seventy five feet down a steep incline striking him and fatally injuring Jesse Dorsey who was also harmed in the same accident.
