An unexpected visitor Florence Peters and a cast led by Sonny fate Marquard Ake face foes including enemy chief Ray Simpson and other titled figures in a lively school play. High School Orchestra provides music while tickets are sold at trainers Drug Store or via class members.

He has delayed the electrocution to finish his life story. His first wife reportedly changed her name, and officials withhold exact timing to avoid demonstrations.
The New York Stock Exchange the New York Curb Market the Produce Securities Market the Unlisted Securities Markets and all commodity markets will be closed Friday and Saturday in observance of Good Friday.
Radio evangelist Rev. John W. Sproul, already involved in four actions in a year, confronts a new complaint filed by Archie Orbeck, an improvisor at WMBJ. Orbeck alleges Sproul failed to pay six weeks of salary totaling $300 before Orbeck ended relations with the station.
G G Coy of Penn Run was a business caller in town yeaturday. George Botsford of Marion Center was a caller here yesterday attending to business. Miss Phyllis Moorhead accompanied her mother Mrs Gustine Logan Moorhead to Indiana for burial in Oakland Cemetery and returned to New York City Wednesday evening. Mrs D Clarence Lefevre and Miss Teresa Jones left for Lancaster to visit Mrs Henry C Harner.
Dr R C McCurdy of 418 Messenger street died after a stroke of paralysis suffered last Saturday. Born in Butler he was a son of Dr Robert L McCurdy and Mary Reddick McCurdy. He studied at Saltburg academy and graduated in medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Baltimore.
Obituaries report Dr McCurdy practicing in several towns and survivors including widow Mrs Margaret Mowery West and four daughters. funeral at the late residence then burial in Freeport. Hugh Graham Neely, 77, Lorain Steel pensioner, died after long illness. former Coopersdale school board president, survived by second wife Rose Coulter Neely, a son Kenneth Neely, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. funeral set in Lorain with local attendees traveling from Johnstown.
Drawings for positions on the upcoming May primary ballots were held yesterday with no candidate appearing. Commissioner Charles L. Bence conducted the drawing process.
Seven candidates vie for Republican committeeman in Indiana County with districts showing multiple contenders. Edward B. Bennett runs unopposed for State Committee. Harrisburg drawing places J T Davis first Griffith second and J Elder Peeler last. New York jury convicts California girl of extortion against Nathan L Amster with a recommendation of mercy.
