Mrs Catharine Hoop Langer wife of LA Langér of Covatlé died Thursday night April 8 at age 62 from paralysis she is survived by her husband five sons and two daughters funeral services were held at Cowode Presbyterian church at 10 o'clock Sunday April 11 conducted by Rev Sheatz of Marion Center and burial in the Presbyterian cemetery James D Taylor of Rochester Mills died Sabbath morning April 13 of a stroke at age 67 he was a Civil War veteran and Canes township resident interment at Union cemetery in Fairview Mr Taylor belonged to the U B church
