Two Injured In Airplane Crash Near Damilgn

Blairsville Woman Confesses to Hiding Birth and Cremating Infant
A 40-year-old Blairsville woman and her 15-year-old daughter confessed to county authorities that they concealed a newborn’s birth and death. The baby was placed in a bucket of water then cremated in a dining room heating stove. The daughter admitted disposing of the infant. the baby’s sex was disputed by the mother. Police report the birth occurred about 12:30 on March 5. A 17-year-old Blairsville youth was named as the father.

Intoxicated driver held on bond after collision
