A general alarm fire swept six to eight downtown buildings in Allentown Pennsylvania killing veteran fireman Mark Good 61 and injuring several others. The Rialto Theater was the fire origin and the lobby collapsed trapping firefighters who were rescued and treated along with numerous residents for minor injuries and cardiua conditions.
