Trial set as jury may hear Stabile burglary case
An Indiana County jury was to hear the first trial of the current court session. Rosario Louis Stabile of Graceton faced burglary larceny and receiving stolen goods charges from a trial that began yesterday and was expected to go to the jury today. Richard Vos of Pittsburgh pleaded guilty to attempted prison breach and aggravated assault and battery and was sentenced to pay one third the costs a $50 fine and six to 12 months at Rockview Diagnostic Center in a concurrent term. Richard John O’Hara of Pittsburgh also pleaded guilty and will be sentenced later. Jury trials were set for Lee R. Deyarmin of Saltsburg charged with driving while intoxicated and Kenneth Alan Pearce of Rossiter charged with public indecency. The trial of Melvin Whitling of Barnesboro on a morals count was continued to a later session.
