Kidnapped M. D. Parker Returns Home In Peoria
Dr James Parker, abducted since March 1 by a gang led by the Secret Six, returned to his Peoria home last night. No ransom was paid, initially demanded at fifty thousand dollars then reduced to eighty thousand. Two Peoria men are being questioned as investigators pursue the gang with help from Indiana authorities. The elder Parker, president of Tax Securities Corp, was kept chained to a bed and faced a wall at meals while captors watched.

Woman Slayer Dies in Chair in New Jersey
