A devoted church member and longtime Indiana post office worker for 17 years he was born in Mount Holly Springs and raised in Philipsburg. Bowser Dies After 40-Foot Fall in Parker's Landing
Curtis A. Bowser, 69, of Parker's Landing, died in Butler Memorial Hospital after missing a step and tumbling 40 feet. He is survived by brothers William D. Bowser of Clymer, Charles Bowser of Pittsburgh, Fred S. Bowser of Parker's Landing, Emma Perrine and Matthew Bowser of Gary Indiana, and his wife who died a year ago. Seven year old Joe Kusmach of Lucerne Mines is hospitalized with a compound fracture of the left leg and head injuries after running in front of a car driven by 17 year old Harry Doppola.
