The Buffalo Rochester and Pittsburg Railway plans to boost capital to 15 million dollars by issuing 9 million in common stock and 6 million preferred. A special stockholders meeting on November 18 at 36 Wall Street in New York will decide the extension from Ponnsutawney south into Indiana county, adding new coal properties and a 30 mile plus line. President Arthur G. Yates expects stockholders will approve the move to advance the railroad into Pennsylvania’s coal fields.
