Hayman Bros will take a room vacated by Shaffer and Kellar, W S Neff’s room will be taken by Cramer and Rutenberg, Nell Shoe Co will lease in J M Cunningham building, Indiana Candy Works will consolidate to one room, and Dr Truitt expands to thirteen rooms in the Thomas flats for office and dwelling.
Sheriff Wettling reported sales of multiple properties. W H Remaley's parcel in Glen Campbell sold to a Building and Loan Association of Harrisburg for 50 dollars. S K Kinter's property in the same area bought by S M Jack for 885 dollars.
Local capitalists formed Laurel Run Oil Company two years ago and secured land in Indian Territory. Eight oil wells and several gas wells boosted value as Clark and Elkin of Glen Campbell purchased Wilson and Clemente interests for nearly a half million dollars. The remaining Meluno brothers retain theirs. The company now plans major development and continued gas supply to the field. The sale shifted principals to Indiana residents and ties to Glenn pool acreage mark it as valuable.

Elderton resident Hare J Alexander wed Mier Nettie I McGeary of Gastown in a Wednesday ceremony at the Lutheran parsonage Koontz Kerr. Homer W Koontz and Vernia Kerr married Tuesday at the Lutheran parsonage. Mabel Wine man wed Percy Stuchell at Homer City home of the Wine mans on Thursday with Barah Wine man as bridesmaid. LePage officiated at Homer City Methodist Church with W P Risinger as best man.
Miss Wilda Sturgeon died at her home in Elderton on Friday February 22 from typhoon fever at nineteen years seven months fifteen days. She leaves a mother two sisters and three brothers, all of Elderton. The funeral was held at the U P church Monday at 1 pm with interment in Elderton cemetery.
The Farmers Bank will close on Wednesday March 6 at 1 30 am to observe the funeral services of Mrs Klingensmith wife of cashier J A Klingensmith the bank will resume operations afterward and warning customers to plan accordingly

On Tuesday evening Inet week Alex T Taylor Son bought the Sutton building from Thomas Sutton and D WM Caldwell, previously used by Ka AH Sutton the furniture dealer, for 30000. The market had been bid up by rumors amid Suttons plan to close the business, and the sale settles its future. The Tadiang Woolen Mills plans expanded blanket production after securing backing from Field Leiter Co of Chicago, with a new cloth department not yet started. The Indiana Ministerial Association met March 4 1907 with Rev Crawford presiding and prayer, discussing whether the world belongs to God or the Devil, adjourned to April 1 2007 at 2 pm.
A week of deaths includes David Oliyver Pestor son of J Harvey Peelor who died in Denver at about thirty, and infant deaths in Dixonville and Chambersville. Frank Horne of Jeannette and Charles Hessler of Grant Avenue die. Mrs. Torrence of Punxsutawney and Mrs. Ann Wider of East Mahoning die after illnesses. Levi Lowmaster of Marion Center dies at ninety seven. Frank Oatmon of Rayne township dies of cancer in White township, survived by six daughters. Margaret Beyer Steving dies at Manor Station aged about seventy seven. Mrs. Klingonamith dies after birth of a child from cerebral poisoning. Six children survive Mrs Klingonamith. Burial plans and services noted for multiple families. Dr. Crawford to conduct services for Mrs Klingonamith president observances in South Bend graveyard.
