Ejectment in Court Opens to Settle Learn Family Title
Court opened Monday before Judge Francis J. O Connor in Cambria county to hear three ejectment actions by Greenwich Coal and Coke Company against Mas Learn Israel Learn and Wm P Learn over land titles in Green township. Greenwich Coal bought the coal under the tracts from Peter Learn, father of the defendants, who had given portions of his farm to his sons for clearing and building. no deeds were made. Judge Telford, previously counsel for the Coal Company, testified as a witness after becoming a judge.

Funeral services for John McCombs were held at his brother Roberts home in Eldersridge after his wife was murdered at his home near Eldersridge on January 23 and he died by his own hand in the county jail last week.
