Harry Bouchar assistant superintendent attempted to throw a bet on last Wednesday and badly lacerated his thumb. Dr Will Simpson amputated the thumb at the joint. Morris Hile caught his hand in a small engine at the Normal School laundry, lacerated and bruised but not needing an operation. Dr George Simpson dressed the injury and Morris hopes to recover enough to see his best girl.
