Will Not Buy Coal Under Option at Marion Center
Promoters lack funds so coal lands near Marion Center will not be bought under option. Options expire December 15. Despite confirmed coal presence and quality, option holders refuse to proceed. About 1500 acres under lease at 50 per acre. Nearby mines produce good coal and Hamilton Coal Company ships coal from a newly opened mine with expanding housing and expected output.

Murder Trial After Alleged Infant Murder Near Hollidaysburg
Mrs Adaline Robinson and her husband Samuel Robinson and Dr TM Duff, respected Hollidaysburg residents, are jailed in Johnstown after a newborn child was found dead in a satchel. Miss Aunté M Robinson, 34, arrived in Johnstown last August, allegedly gave birth last Wednesday, and was stopped at the station where the car driver testified the child was chloroformed. Police alleged a confession and connected arrests followed in Hollidaysburg. The body rests at the undertaker John Pendry for interment. the mother remains in serious condition.
