Indiana Corn Quality Tops World Standards Says Purdue
Purdue has mailed exams to twenty seven Indiana counties to measure yields of more than nine hundred applicants seeking entry to the Hundred Bushels Club. To join, a five acre field must average 100 bushels per acre, with Professor G I Christie as honorary member for his leadership. The state boasts all national corn sweepstakes winners and a long term trophy holding state dominance. Christie notes room to grow yields from the current forty bushel state average.
