Centenarian Quaker passes quietly after eight decades of era
Guliuna Bell Healey born September 27 1825 near Dublin Indiana died July 1 1925 just short of a century. She lived in Wayne County nearly all her life witnessing forests giving way to fields and modern homes. Married Eli Henley in 1848 she raised six children two died in childhood and two in later life. A birthright member of the Society of Friends she upheld frugality industry and sobriety and spoke as a strong advocate for prohibition. She leaves daughter Helen Henley Clark son Thomas C Henley a granddaughter and a great grandson in Mil in Indiana.
