WCRC seeks new members in October drive
The Women's Community Resources Center announces a membership expansion drive running from October through year end. Categories range from contributing four dollars to sponsor five hundred twenty dollars. all gifts are tax deductible. Center aims to double membership by 1977 and notes city funding ended last July.

Reception honors Hansen 50th date
More than 150 friends and relatives gathered Sunday for a buffet reception at the Long Beach home of their daughter to honor Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Hansen on their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple’s children co hosted, and they have 24 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. They married September 28, 1926 in Denver and have lived in Long Beach 48 years. Mr Hansen is a retired member of Foremen Local 94 of the International Longshoremen and Warehousemen Union.
