B-Girl Case Witness Put on Probation
A prosecution witness in the Holston drunk rolling racket case was granted two-year probation by Superior Judge Beach Vasey on bad check charges. Odette McNeil, 33, of Temple Avenue, was ordered to restitution for 20 worthless checks totaling 400 dollars she admitted cashing before her May 2 arrest.

Purchase of Schroeder Air Company OK by Idaho Maryland Mines
Idaho Maryland Mines Corp of Grass Valley announced Tuesday in San Francisco that stockholders approved the management's acquisition of Schroeder Manufacturing Inc of 1740 Cowles St. The Idaho Maryland stockholders approved a change of the company's focus beyond mining, authorized an increase of capital stock from 2 percent million to 5 million shares, and approved a reduction of par value from 1 to 50 cents. A San Francisco office statement said the acquisition, a major aircraft valve and accessory producer, is expected to be formalized in early October. Schroeder Manufacturing is owned by a group led by Frederick W. Richmond of New York.
