Long Beach redevelopment agency approves direct negotiations with qualified developers for the 14.2 acre West Beach project within a 21 acre area bounded by Ocean Boulevard Seaside Boulevard Magnolia Avenue and the Los Angeles River. Development consultants will run a comprehensive market exposure program while statements of interest are reviewed and exclusive negotiations may be awarded to one or more firms.

City Approves Six Month Oil Budget for Thums Long Beach
The City Council approved a six month Thums Long Beach Co. oil budget totaling 45 934 080 dollars to run Jan 1 through June 30 to switch to a fiscal year.
