Risk of womb cancer linked to high fat diet
An Australian scientist reported at Cold Spring Harbor that high animal fat intake correlates with risk factors for womb cancer including obesity early puberty and late menopause. He noted estrogen exposure from pills raises risk and linked fat diets to breast and colon cancers, with U.S. projections of 27 000 new womb cancer cases and 3 300 deaths in 1978. A Tokyo researcher added that milk consumption may lower stomach cancer risk as Western diets rise.

Milk and diet linked to lower stomach cancer risk study
A large analysis of 265000 adults found that drinking two glasses of milk daily, especially among nonsmokers, correlated with a significantly lower stomach cancer risk. Some heart specialists also advocate skim milk as part of a diet to reduce atherosclerosis risk, alongside modest gains in meat and fruit consumption.
