Rain storms miss garden party as guests toast outdoors
A Las Cerritos poolside gathering at the Weiss residence met bursts of rain that spared the finale, with pink candles and orchids brightening the terrace. Guests included Laura Killingsworth, Luba Kadvany, the Kroger couple, and dozens more from local clubs and families, while some visitors traveled in from Florida and Rosarita Beach. Evening music and dancing continued despite the showers.
