Judge rebukes acquittal jurors in Los Angeles case
Superior Judge Leve Dawson reprimanded an all female jury after they celebrated the acquittal of officer Curtis Frank who denied soliciting a $150 bribe from Thomas Gates. Gates, a 34 year old chef, faced grand theft charges. Frank led the investigation and was accused of taking $80, the defense claimed entrapment. The judge halted any juror defense contact and warned he would act if needed.
