Panthers Win Park Rally Permit In Los Angeles
The Black Panther Party and two peace groups won permission from the Recreation and Parks Commission to use city parks. The Panthers plan a November 3 barbecue rally at South Park with about 1,500 attendees. The Valley Peace Center will hold a December 1 resistance rally at North Hollywood Park and the Northeast Peace Committee a November 16 peace-in at Sycamore Grove Park.
