Kinks Road to Fame Fueled by Art and Odd Style
London rockers the Kinks emerged from modest roots to become a top act with hits like You Really Got Me and A Well Respected Man. Ray Davies leads a four member group noted for unique dress, self written songs, and a plan to make films. They value artistic freedom and collaboration over a single leader.
