In a one hour ground battle near the Cambodian border, a Communist force shot down two U S helicopters. Fifteen Communists were killed, two Americans wounded. The engagement was the biggest in Friday’s lull, with both helicopters destroyed.
Jennifer intensified from tropical storm to hurricane with winds above 75 mph near its center.
