Orange County Vocational Schools Not Needed Says Officials
In Orange County officials say vocational schools are unnecessary though federal funds exist. Superintendent Frank A Grunenfelder warns such schools risk becoming disciplinary dumping grounds. Supt-elect Dr Robert D Peterson supports more emphasis on vocational training while noting students should decide on careers earlier. Peterson advocates career Saturdays and on site work to reduce stigma and help students in choosing fields.
