Phnom Penh reports a major new offensive as up to 10,000 Communist forces attack a Cambodian task force north of the capital. Maj. Am Rong says the assault near Tang Kauk and Prakham is the largest of the war. Troops, rocket and mortar barrages mark the third strike in as many nights.
