Apollo 7 Aimed at Moon Landing Readiness in 1969
Downey Aerospace official John P Healey says the U S space program may reach the moon in the 1969 decade. Apollo 7 is set for October and will test spacecraft systems for a possible manned lunar mission. He expects a December manned earth orbit and four to six micro Apollo flights next year to refine lunar landing gear and docking techniques.
