Lawmakers urge HEW to fund bilingual education in Los Angeles district
Thirteen California lawmakers demanded that HEW reverse a denial of 496 276 dollars for expanding a bilingual education pilot at Mala Bar Elementary in East Los Angeles and five Catholic Archdiocese schools.
