Vacations Pay Boost Estimated for Douglas County Workforce
A local payroll plan will add about 2 million to vacation pay, sick leave, and related benefits. About 6,500 hourly workers will receive increases calculated by pay rate and tenure, with totals near 9.5 million across Douglas’ six divisions, led by Santa Monica at 4.3 million and Long Beach at 9.5 million in overall compensation enhancements.
