Brutal Pacifica ritual slaying identified victim
John Richard Norton a 29 year old librarian from San Francisco was identified as the murdered man found bound and displayed on a hill behind Devil's Slide near Pacifica. Hikers located the nude body with head crushed by brick and stones while feet and hands were restrained. Detectives called it a ritual killing with no signs of a struggle. Norton was married with a child and vanished Friday morning.
