A public hearing is set for 10 30 am Monday at 1616 4th St Santa Ana. The California Public Utilities Commission will review Pacific Southwest Airlines application for three daily round trips between Santa Ana Sacramento via San Francisco.
SAFETY RECORD And Leave the Driving to These One thousand and 25 years of safe driving That is the record chalked up by 79 bus drivers of the Long Beach Public Transportation Co. Thirty-two of the 79 have driven in excess of 20 years without a preventable accident. Awards were presented to the 79 at two steak dinners one for day and one for night drivers by William Farrell, bus company manager, and J.W. Prutschan of Beneficial Insurance Co. at the Long Beach Municipal Recreation Center Wednesday night. Joe Cooper, assistant manager of the bus company, was master of ceremonies. In spite of increased traffic conditions, the drivers are achieving a continuing reduction in accidents.
