Four marry proposals to Viet refugee jilted by remarried husband
In Bangor Maine a 24 year old South Vietnamese refugee Vu Thi Lan, who arrived six days ago, discovers her GI husband Michael Green has remarried without divorce. At least four men have proposed to Lan by letters and a phone call from Indiana. Police say she plans to stand on her own, works at a restaurant, opened a bank account, and has repaid welfare. Green faces possible bigamy charges as he remains with his second wife Roseanna.
