Bus Driver Trapped In Front-End Crash

A Long Beach four car crash at a busy E Seventh Street and Alamitos Avenue intersection left bus driver Albert W. Foster seriously injured after being pinned in his chair for 20 minutes. Injured also were his grandson, two women riding with Foster, and the candy truck driver. Police said the Southland Bus Co. vehicle from Garden Grove collided with the candy truck driven by Robert Ide. The incident occurred at 3 10 pm as a grandmother and five passengers were treated for leg head and shoulder injuries.

WM Strikes and Collision Leave Families in Transit
