Picket ban in Capitol ruled out by judge
SACRAMENTO UPI reports a 1969 law barring picketing inside the State Capitol was struck down as unconstitutional for violating free speech. Judge Sheldon H. Grossfeld dismissed the case against Robert H. Simpson, noting only the section banning willful picketing, not the provision prohibiting disruptive conduct, could be unconstitutional.
