Birthright in war on abortions
Washington report on Birthright chapters mobilizing to aid pregnant teens and oppose abortion. Dorothy Garrett of Northern Virginia says most abortions in the area involve white women, stresses fetal development stages, and notes Birthright offers medical referrals, counseling, employment help, and adoption guidance while working with families. They field 300+ calls, decry abortion in about 90 cases, and operate with 45 volunteers since last November.
