American Priest Questions Pope on Birth Control Pills

He viewed only pills that regulate menstruation or ovulation as potentially acceptable, while abortive pills remain opposed. Stransky noted some theologians may allow cycle control, others may permit ovulation control, though none are currently approved. He spoke during a NBC interview ahead of a church advisory commission report in mid April.

The four bodies were removed from the wreckage near Lake Arrowhead after a single engine plane crashed Friday night in the San Bernardino Mountains. Sheriff officers recovered the victims there on Sunday. the pilot was identified as John Ashley, 29, of Pomona, with other names being withheld pending relatives' notification.
