Leisure World seniors view Jesus Christ Superstar
About 150 residents at Leisure World Community Church in Seal Beach attended a Sunday presentation of the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. Dr. Frank A. Lindhorst and his wife organized the event to bridge the generation gap, noting the work's modern language while offering insights into Jesus life and Judas. Some praised the music but a critic felt the music did not match the text.
