Despite 3 million dollars in fire damage at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, the new “Roaring 20s” area remains on track to open June 1. The blaze, confined to two sections “Knott’s Beary Tales” and “Palm Casino,” lasted 45 minutes with no injuries. Project manager Marion Knott Anderson and officials confirmed openings as engineers assess damage. Fire origin under investigation. work began last September on two rides and 11 features. Knott’s, touted as the nation’s third largest amusement park, will stay open.
